Kaya Oğuz has been with the Department of Computer Engineering since February 2017, but he has been offering courses on artificial intelligence in computer games, several core computer science courses, and software engineering since February 2012.

Bio: Çağkan Uludağlı received his BSc degree in Computer Engineering from İzmir Institute of Technology at 2012 and his MSc degree in Game Technologies from Middle East Technical University at 2017. He worked as a software developer at METU Computer Center for over three years during his MSc education. He's been studying at Computer Engineering Doctorate Program at our university since July 2017 and he's been working as a research assistant at the same department since April 2018.
His research interests cover the topics such as player-computer interaction, artificial intelligence for games, psychology in game design and virtual/augmented/mixed reality.
Eray Kaçmaz, MSc

Bio: Eray Kaçmaz received MBA degree in 2018 from Manisa Celal Bayar University. He has been working actively as a system and network administrator for over four years. High skilled over managing on-premise/cloud servers, network devices, virtualization environments and firewalls. Also has Azure AI and CCNA R&S certifications. Academically studying on image processing and artificial intelligence.
Cansu Özkan, MSc
Thesis title: “Feature Selection for Speaker and Language Independent Speech Emotion Recognition”

Bio: Cansu Özkan received her B.Sc. degree (2020) from İzmir University of Economics Computer Engineering Department as the highest-ranking student. In October 2020, she started the Computer Engineering Master of Science program in Izmir University of Economics where she focuses on Speech Emotion Recognition. She has recently been appointed as a teaching assistant at the Computer Engineering Department in Izmir Institute of Technology.
Gani Rahmon, MSc
Thesis title: “Evaluation of Procedurally Generated Terrains via Artificial and Convolutional Neural Networks”

Bio: Gani Rahmon received B.Sc degree (2016) and M. Sc. degree (2018) from Izmir University of Economics Computer Engineering Department. He worked as a mobile application developer for more than four years during his master's degree and afterward. In August 2019, he started the Computer Science Doctorate Program at the University of Missouri - Columbia (USA) and he's been working as a research assistant since August 2019 and as a teaching assistant since August 2020.
His research interest include topics such as computer vision, data fusion, deep learning, biomedical image analysis, moving object detection, and object tracking.
