Aria (ARtificial Intelligence and Algorithms) Lab is currently based at the [[https://fecs.ieu.edu.tr|Faculty of Engineering]] in [[https://ieu.edu.tr|Izmir University of Economics]]. We mainly focus on the application and development of algorithms and artificial intelligence methods. The lab is under the guidance of [[http://homes.ieu.edu.tr/koguz|Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kaya Oğuz]]. 

Current research tracks are, 

  * Genetic Algorithms,
  * Overlapping Community Detection,
  * Speech Emotion Recognition,
  * AR/VR in Architecture,
  * Software Engineering
